The SureLock Tandem Midi Gel Tank should be used with an external DC power supply designed for electrophoresis. This power supply must be isolated from the ground so that the DC output is floating (safety requirement) and must be equipped with No Load or Open Circuit protection. It must be able to operate at 300 V and have an output current minimum of at least 1 A (1000 mA). We recommend using the PowerEase Touch 350W Power Supply (Cat. No. PS0350) with the SureLock Tandem Midi Gel Tank.
Note: To allow connection of the covered power leads of the SureLock Tandem Midi Gel Tank with certain power supplies that are not designed for use with covered or non-retractable power leads, we recommend using Novex Power Supply Adapters available separately (Cat. No. ZA10001).
