Gibco CTS OpTmizer T-Cell Expansion SFM has been developed for the growth and expansion of human T lymphocytes. It is serum-free and xeno-free.

This product, CTS OpTmizer T Cell Expansion SFM Validation, enables customers to validate the new packaging of CTS OpTmizer T Cell Expansion SFM (Cat. No. A1048503) that is being introduced in 2026 to support advanced assessment of the new packaging performance and compatibility with their existing protocols and workflows.

Advanced packaging for optimal cell culture

The basal medium component of the CTS OpTmizer T-Cell Expansion SFM kit will be packaged in an Aegis 5-14 bioprocessing container (BPC), an innovative containment system designed to maintain the integrity and sterility of the product. The Aegis 5-14 film will provide expanded versatility for connection options, including sterile, weldable DEPH-free PVC tubing with Luer lock and weldable C-Flex tubing.

Aegis 5-14 BPCs have passed biological safety testing, including conforming to USP <85>, USP<87>, USP <88>, USP <661>, and EP <3.2.2.1>. This advanced packaging solution helps ensure that the sample remains uncontaminated and ready for immediate use in research settings, supporting researchers with a reliable foundation for their experiments.
