General Description

• Meclofenamic acid is an aminobenzoic acid-based NSAID that is characterized by two aryl moieties

• Meclofenamic acid is an inhibitor of arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase and prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase

• Meclofenamic acid prevents pyrogen release and inhibits wound granulation; it may also act as a neoplastic
