ACOT8 Antibody (PA5-26152) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of ACOT8 in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human prostate carcinoma. Samples were incubated with ACOT8 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-26152) which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Acyl-CoA thioesterases are a group of enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of acyl-CoAs to the free fatty acid and coenzyme A (CoASH), providing the potential to regulate intracellular levels of acyl-CoAs, free fatty acids and CoASH. It may mediate Nef-induced down-regulation of CD4. It may be involved in the metabolic regulation of peroxisome proliferation.
