BCAM Antibody (PA5-47144) in WB
Western blot analysis of BCAM in LNCaP human prostate cancer cell line, human prostate tissue, human kidney tissue, and human thyroid tissue. Samples were incubated in BCAM polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47144) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG secondary antibody. Specific bands were detected for BCAM at approximately 70-90 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

Approximately 2% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) ALCAM is observed and less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhPECAM, rhEpCAM, rhICAM-1, rhICAM-2, rhICAM-3, and rhVCAM-1 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.

Lutheran blood group glycoprotein is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and a receptor for the extracellular matrix protein, laminin. The protein contains five, N-terminus, extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a single transmembrane domain, and a short, C-terminal cytoplasmic tail. This protein may play a role in epithelial cell cancer and in vaso-occlusion of red blood cells in sickle cell disease. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
