FXR2 Antibody (MA1-5773) in WB
Western blot analysis was performed on whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of HeLa (Lane 1), HEK-293 (Lane 2), MCF7 (Lane 3), U-87 MG (Lane 4), PC-3 (Lane 5) and NIH/3T3 (Lane 6). The blot was probed with Anti-FXR2 Monoclonal Antibody (A42) (Product # MA1-5773, 1:1000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti Mouse IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A28177, 0.25 µg/mL, 1:4000 dilution). A 95 kDa band corresponding to FXR2 was observed across all cell lines tested.

MA1-5773 detects FXR2 in human samples and is predicted to function in mouse samples.
MA1-5773 has been successfully used in Western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence and ELISA procedures. MA1-5773 detects a band of approximately 92 kDa.
The MA1-5773 immunogen is His6-FXR2s fusion protein produced in a bacterial pET system.

FMRP is the archetype of a class of cytoplasmic mRNA-binding proteins that includes the fragile X-related 1 and 2 proteins (FXR1 and FXR2). The fragile X-related proteins FXR1 and FXR2 contain a functional nucleolar-targeting signal equivalent to the HIV-1 regulatory proteins.
