Our latest updates can be downloaded and installed directly to your computer. There is no need to extract files; you can simply navigate through the Insight Pro folders until you locate the “Start” file.
Please register your instrument before downloading instrument software. Registration is a one-time process which allows you to receive alerts when new software is available for your specific instrument. Registration also helps verify your warranty status.

GENESYS custom methods application
All Thermo Scientific GENESYS G5 instruments come with the powerful Custom Methods application to make UV-Vis analysis smoother and easier.
Custom Methods provide a simple way to design methods and experiments on-board the instrument, with options to add complexities, like multi-wavelength analysis, replicates, factors, and mathematical functions.
With the Custom Methods application, users can create and deploy methods to simplify experimental set-up for users, including options to pass judgement on a sample. This limits the risk of misinterpreting data and speeds the time to action by streamlining decision-making points for users at all levels.

Color Calculation Software

Bio Methods Software
Perform quantitative measurements in life science laboratories with the GENESYS G5 UV-Vis instruments with the Bio Methods enabled. The Bio Methods offer pre-programmed assay methods for nucleic acid and protein concentration, like nucleic acid A260, protein A280 and A205, and multiple protein colorimetric assays.
