AOAC 2025

39th Annual meeting | August 23 - 28 | San Diego, California

Ensure food safety with Thermo Fisher Scientific's advanced analytical instrumentation in combination with new, out-of-the box innovative workflows to protect public health and meet regulatory standards. Our comprehensive workflow solutions allow you to cover more compounds and pesticide-matrix combinations in a single analysis. Seamlessly process results from both GC- and LC-MS/MS in one software for quick cross-confirmation, higher confidence, and fewer re-injections.

Key benefits include:

  • Easy implementation with built-in report templates and pre-set data views.
  • Cost-effective LC-high resolution Orbitrap mass detector for analyzing over 600 pesticides.
  • Compliance with regulatory guidelines without the need for complex method development.

Overcoming trace residue analytical challenges faced by today’s food and beverage testing laboratories

Monday, August 25, 2025 | 7 – 8 a.m. PDT | Town and Country Resort - Pacific E

Pesticide residues and PFAS analysis in complex matrices can be a daunting task for labs as regulations continually add more target analytes and require lower limits of detection. Analysts need workflows that are easy-to-use, out-of-the-box, and can meet future needs as the testing landscape evolves. To meet these challenges, we describe new workflows that:

  • Utilize a novel, high-throughput, automation-ready sample preparation technique with high enrichment factors applicable to several matrices
  • Leverage LC-HRMS to add improved specificity in cost-effective quantitative analysis
  • Employ an automated micro-SPE approach for superior sample clean-up
