IP 裂解缓冲液是一种基于改良 RIPA 缓冲液配方（不含 SDS）的哺乳动物全细胞裂解试剂。这种中等强度裂解缓冲液可高效溶解细胞蛋白，但不会像一般 RIPA 缓冲液那样释放染色体组 DNA 或破坏蛋白复合物。Pierce IP 裂解缓冲液经过特殊配方，可用于各种牵出测定和免疫沉淀检测。
Pierce IP 裂解缓冲液可从孔板细胞和经悬浮培养液粒化的细胞中有效裂解出培养的哺乳动物细胞。该裂解缓冲液经过优化可用于各种牵出测定和免疫沉淀检测，还可与很多其他应用兼容，包括 Thermo Scientific Pierce BCA 和 660 nm 蛋白测定、蛋白纯化和各种免疫检测（如 ELISA、Western 印迹）。
Pierce IP 裂解缓冲液由 25 mM Tris-HCl pH 7.4、150 mM NaCl、1 mM EDTA、1% NP-40 和 5% 甘油组成。该缓冲液不含蛋白酶或磷酸酶抑制剂；但是如果需要，可在使用前添加各种抑制剂，如 Thermo Scientific Halt 蛋白酶抑制剂混合物或磷酸酶抑制剂混合物，以防止蛋白水解并保持蛋白磷酸化。
