What is the recommended storage temperature for the Wash buffer and the Elution buffer within the Pierce Cell Surface Biotinylation and Isolation Kit (Cat. No. A44390)?

The user guide of this kit indicates that these buffers should be stored at room temperature, but the vial specifies storage between 2°C to 8°C. Indeed, the buffers can be stored at room temperature as well as in a refrigerator. Storage at 2°C to 8°C will not harm the buffers, but as both buffers include a detergent, it could precipitate at temperatures around 4°C. However, once taken out of the refrigerator and adjusting back to room temperature, the buffers can be vortexed and used without any problem. As the washing and elution steps are performed at room temperature, it is much more practical to store them at room temperature.
