FIGURE: 1 / 44
Description: The HIS51 monoclonal antibody reacts with rat CD90 and cross-reacts with mouse CD90.1, a GPI-linked membrane molecule. In the rat, CD90 is expressed by hematopoietic stem cells, immature B cells, thymocytes, recent thymic emigrants, neurons, inflammed endothelia and other cell types. In the CD90.1-expressing mouse strains, PL and AKR, CD90 is expressed by early hematopoietic cells in the bone marrow, thymocytes and mature T cells.
Applications Reported: This HIS51 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: This HIS51 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of rat splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.06 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 695 nm; Laser: Blue Laser.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
CD90 (Thy 1) antigen is a GPI linked glycoprotein member of the Immunoglobulin super family. It is expressed in murine T cells, thymocytes, neural cells, Kupffer's cells and fibroblasts. Thy 1 may play a role in cell-cell or cell-ligand interactions during synaptogenesis and other events in the brain.
